Who can participate?

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Be a national municipality
  2. Complete the form correctly
  3. The project or initiative must be implemented or in progress
  4. Active participation in the Networking Agenda mode at Greencities&S-Moving 2024

Categories

THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES ARE REQUIRED:

  1. Municipalities up to 5.000 inhabitants.
  2. Municipalities with a population between 5.000 and 50.000.
  3. Municipalities with more than 50.000 inhabitants.

Dates to consider:

KEY DATES:

  • Submission of applications: until August 31st, 2024 at 23:59h.
  • Evaluation: from September 3rd to September 12th, 2024.
  • Notification of selected proposals: from September 13th, 2024.
  • Deadline to confirm participation in the event: by September 18th, 2024.

Selection criteria

The evaluation committee will consider the following criteria for the pre-selection of candidates:

  • Participation of citizens in the implementation of the project
  • Studies and forecasts of citizens’ quality of life indices
  • Degree of innovation and technology used in the projects
  • Commitment and involvement in the following SDGs:
    • Health and well-being
    • Clean water and sanitation
    • Affordable and clean energy
    • Industry, innovation and infrastructure
    • Sustainable cities and communities
